Recognition Awards
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology is pleased to invite nominations for its annual Recognition Awards, which celebrate excellence in teaching and research among students and faculty.
Awards will be announced and presented at the Department’s Annual Awards and Recognition Ceremony.
Application Deadline:
The deadline for nominations is September 30, 2026.

Teaching Awards
Annual Faculty Recognition Awards for Teaching Excellence
Two awards are conferred annually in recognition of outstanding teaching contributions by faculty members, including adjunct faculty and clinical educators with official departmental appointments or clinical placement agreements.
Students may nominate faculty members for one of the following:
- Award for Teaching Excellence in an Academic Course
- Award for Teaching Excellence in a Clinical Placement

Research Awards
Annual Student and Faculty Research Recognition Awards
Two awards are conferred annually in recognition of outstanding research contributions by:
- Research students in the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI), Speech-Language Pathology stream
- Faculty members in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology, including adjunct faculty and clinical educators with official departmental appointments or clinical placement agreements
