Plan Your Finances

All applicants should budget carefully to ensure adequate funding for two years of full-time study before enrolling in the MHSc program. We strongly encourage prospective students to apply for scholarships, student loans, and lines of credit wherever possible.

Estimated Costs

Tuition & Living Expenses

Students should plan for expenses related to tuition and fees, books and academic supplies, computer and internet access, accommodation and food, transportation, and personal costs.

NOTE: The MHSc program is intensive and does not allow students to work during the summer between Year 1 and Year 2

Financial Aid Options

Loans, Scholarships & Bursaries

  • Apply for government loans and major academic scholarships such as:
    • Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
    • Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)

NOTE: Funding for professional master’s students is limited and primarily needs-based bursary support.
