The Path from MHSc to a PhD in S-LP…
The faculty in the department conduct research in aphasia, stuttering, dysphagia, neurological speech disorders and speech motor control, bilingualism, and child language disorders. Please read about specific labs in the faculty pages under Labs and Research Profiles. Many of the faculty members seek graduate research (MSc and PhD) students.
Are you a UofT student who is interested in pursuing a research degree after you complete your professional degree? Let us know as soon as possible so we can work with you to accomplish this! Please email professors Pascal van Lieshout at firstname.lastname@example.org or Yana Yunusova at email@example.com for guidance, or email directly to faculty whose research excites you.
If you are an external student interested in pursuing a PhD or MSc please go directly to the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI) website: http://www.rsi.utoronto.ca/ to find out more about this program stream.
