UofT SLP Annual Student, Faculty, Teaching and Research Awards
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Monday, October 31, 2022 at midnight
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology confers four Recognition Awards annually.
A. Teaching
- Award for teaching excellence in an academic course.
- Award for teaching excellence in a clinical placement.
B. Research
- Award in recognition of research excellence – student researcher
- Award in recognition of research excellence – faculty researcher
Awards and nomination announcements will be presented at the department’s annual Awards and Recognition Ceremony in (February 2022).
A. Annual Faculty Recognition Awards for Teaching Excellence
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology confers two annual awards in recognition of outstanding contributions made by faculty (including adjunct faculty and clinical educators with official departmental appointments or clinical placement agreements).
Students nominate Faculty for the:
Award for teaching excellence in an academic course.
OR
Award for teaching excellence in a clinical placement.

B. Annual Student and Faculty Research Recognition Awards
We are also accepting Nominations for the Annual Student and Faculty Research Recognition Awards.
The Department confers two annual awards in recognition of outstanding research contributions made by research students in the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute’s Speech-Language Pathology stream as well as faculty in the department (including adjunct faculty and clinical educators with official departmental appointments or clinical placement agreements).
