Annual Faculty Recognition Awards for Teaching Excellence

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology confers two annual awards in recognition of outstanding contributions made by faculty (including adjunct faculty and clinical educators with official departmental appointments or clinical placement agreements).

Students nominate Faculty for the:

  1. Award for teaching excellence in an academic course.
  2. Award for teaching excellence in a clinical placement.

 A few changes this year in response to the pandemic:

  • Nominations are  open until Jan 11 2021 at 9am
  • To avoid delays in receiving nominations, inclusion of a CV is optional.
  • Signatures are not required however please attest to the fact that the nominee has been made aware that you are nominating and has agreed to participate in the process.
  • Inclusion of a letter from a peer of the nominee is also optional.

Annual Student and Faculty Research Recognition Awards

We are also accepting Nominations for the Annual Student and Faculty Research Recognition Awards.

The Department confers two annual awards in recognition of outstanding research contributions made by research students in the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute’s Speech-Language Pathology stream as well as faculty in the department (including adjunct faculty and clinical educators with official departmental appointments or clinical placement agreements).

A few changes this year in response to the pandemic:

  • Nominations are  open until Jan 11 2021 at 9am
  • Signatures are not required however please attest to the fact that the nominee has been made aware that you are nominating and has agreed to participate in the process as outlined in the “Declaration of the Nominee”.

These awards will be presented at the department’s annual Awards and Recognition Ceremony in November.
