Bio

Dr. Gonzalez-Barrero is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She also completed a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology at McGill University and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a specialization in Language Acquisition at McGill University. Currently she is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Psychology at Concordia University. Dr. Gonzalez-Barrero’s research interests focus on language development and language disorders in monolingual and bilingual children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders.
