Bio: Hillary Ganek, PhD, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT, is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Cochlear Implant Lab at the Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Ganek has conducted research and worked clinically in North America, Australia, Asia, and Africa. She investigates how social determinants of health influence natural language learning in young children with and without hearing loss through the use of automated vocal analysis tools.
