Speech Fluency Lab
At the Speech Fluency Lab at the Department of Speech-Language Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, we are exploring the brain processes that lead to the development of stuttering in children and adults. By looking at functions and anatomy using state-of-the-art brain imaging, we can understand what factors cause stuttering and, importantly, what we can do better in treatment.
Target Populations
Children and adults with developmental and neurogenic stuttering including Aphasia and other neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease
Research Participation
There are several ongoing projects on developmental and neurogenic stuttering in the lab. If you are interested in participating in research studies in the lab, please contact us!
