Background:
I obtained a B.Sc. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Alberta and a M.Sc.in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My clinical experience includes employment as a speech-language pathologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary in the Cleft Palate, Voice, Preschool Multihandicapped and Outreach programs and also as the Education Coordinator for the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I am a registered speech-language pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario and a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. I am also a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and a non-statutory registered member of the Speech, Language and Hearing Association of Alberta.
Professional Interests:
My professional interests include pediatric language, phonology, voice and cleft palate, promotion of professional development and clinical education. Clinical education is a particular area of expertise and the development of clinical education skills through formal skill training a specific interest in that area.
