A comparison of health care utilization and costs for the stroke population with and without aphasia: A first Canadian study


Aura Kagan is the Executive Director and Director of Applied Research and Education at the Aphasia Institute in Toronto. The Institute is a nonprofit teaching and learning agency dedicated to service, education, research, awareness and advocacy for all those living with aphasia, and their families.  Aura received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto’s Institute of Medical Science. She is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, has developed innovative approaches to living with aphasia, and has an extensive record of publications and presentations.
