Electromagnetic Articulographs (EMA)
About Electromagnetic Articulography
Electromagnetic articulograph uses weak electromagnetic fields to track the position of articulators (lips, tongue, jaw, larynx) during speech production or swallowing. The ODL has one AG-500 EMA and one AG-501 EMA by Carstens Medizinelektronik GmbH. For a detailed comparison of the two models, please refer to the chart on this webpage.
