The Department of Speech-Language Pathology is proud to announce that three of our students have been named recipients of the prestigious SAC Student Achievement Award in Cycle 2. This national scholarship program, administered by Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC), recognizes graduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, resilience, and a deep commitment to the field of communication sciences.
SAC is a leading national organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and communication health assistants across Canada. The SAC Student Achievement Awards not only provide financial support, but also honour students’ passion, perseverance, and potential to lead meaningful change within their communities.
We are thrilled to share that our students have been awarded three of the four available scholarships in the highly competitive Student Achievement Award category:
- Anh Nhu Emily Tran
- Aanjana Piratheeparatnam
- Kiruththika Pushpalingam
These achievements reflect not only the individual excellence of our students, but also the department’s dedication to fostering a rigorous and supportive academic and clinical environment.
Congratulations to our outstanding awardees!
