2023 Editors Award - Early Precursors of Reading Development in Simultaneous Bilinguals: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The editor-in-chief and editors of Perspectives of the ASHA Special Interest Groups selected the article, “Early Precursors of Reading Development in Simultaneous Bilinguals: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” co-authored by Insiya Bhalloo & Monika Molnar as the winner of the 2023 Editor’s Award. An Editor’s Award selects the most impactful works that meet the highest quality standards in research design and presentation. The award was announced through a post on the ASHA Journals Academy Context blog, as well as added to their Awards of Excellence page on the ASHAWire platform. The award was formally presented during the Researcher-Academic Town Meeting (RATM) at the 2024 ASHA Convention in Seattle, WA. It was also be mentioned during the main awards ceremony at Convention. The article will be featured on the ASHAWire platform so that it carries the “Editor’s Award” icon in perpetuity.
